Ivy & Rose Warehouse Wedding | Ashley + Rhiannon
Ashley + Rhiannon
Fargo, ND | Ivy & Rose Warehouse Wedding
The first wedding of the 2021 season is going to be a tough one to beat! I was blessed with being able to spend my day photographing two amazing individuals, along with their friends and family. I could not be more honored to have captured their special day. Their wedding was filled with their unique style, so much love, and laughter that filled the room for all to feel.
Covid and negative temperatures were not going to stop these two from getting married. Their original plans were a wedding in Moorhead, however with new restrictions in Minnesota, they quickly moved everything over to North Dakota. While the guest list had to be cut down, they made sure to stream their union via Facebook Live for all to see! With the whirlwind of Covid and continuous changes, these two made the most of it! I love that nothing was going to stop them from becoming Mrs. & Mrs. After all, that is what a wedding is all about!
Being that Rhiannon + Ashley were doing a special first look before the ceremony, they were determined to not see one another prior. For this reason, they each had their own separate Air BnB to get ready at with their wedding party. Utilizing an Air BnB can be great for extra space and additional natural light. Opposed to hotels and churches, which typically do not have those elements.
Not to mention that when you book with Samantha Turner Photography you will have two photographers! This was perfect for Ashley + Rhiannon’s special day because we were able to split up for the getting ready portion of the day. This way we were able to capture all of the special moments taking place at each separate Air BnB.
Ashley and Rhiannon’s first look was private and intimate and so very perfect. You can just feel the love that radiates for one another! As you can see the couple chose some of their favorite pieces for their couple photos- wands! Could it get any more magical than that? The style these two have is so fun and unique it was so exciting to see it all come together. The rustic warehouse vibes were a great addition to the couple’s Harry Potter vibes.
This may not have been the wedding they originally envisioned, but these two definitely made the most out of every moment. Their wedding was small, intimate, and personable – my favorite! Not only does it become more personable, but the brides were also able to spend extra time with each of their guests.
As the night progressed and the reception approached music was playing and mingling was happening. The couple danced the night away with all of their loved ones surrounding. It couldn’t have been a more magical day and night. I wish these two amazing Bride’s a lifetime of happiness. It has been an immense pleasure!
